The FAA ADHD Fast Track is a streamlined pathway to medical certiifcation for pilots and pilot applicants with a prior ADHD diagnosis, no stimulant medication use in the last 4 years, and stable academic and occupational functioning.
If eligible and ADHD fast track evaluation is completed prior to meeting with an AME, the AME may issue medical certification without deferral to the FAA.
FAA's ADHD Fast Track requires a specialied assessment by a psychologist within 90 days prior to meeting with an AME.
Unlike the ADHD Standard track, the ADHD Fast Track evaluation does not require cogntiive testing and may be completed via tele-health online.
The total cost of an ADHD fast track assessment with Dr. Blomeke is $600; this includes record review, assessment, and report/paperwork for FAA.

Check likely eligibility
The FAA publishes the full eligibility requirements for their various medical decision pathways. Based on this, we have created a questionnaire to help pilots determine if an ADHD Fast Track appointment with a psychologist is likely to be helpful. The FAA's criteria are highly specific and while we can never guarantee an FAA outcome, if it is known ahead of time that you won't meet criteria for the fast track, we don't want you to waste your time and money on an appointment that won't meet your needs.
2. Gather FAA-required documents
Below is the list of required documents that the FAA requires you to submit for ADHD Fast Track; you must attempt to get records for all items that apply to you, but it is understood that childhood records can not always be obtained.
a. Pharmacy records covering the last four (4) years
b. Medical records related to the diagnosis and treatment for ADHD
c. Any other evaluations or records related to ADHD or learning issues
d. Medical records related to any other condition that was treated with ADHD medication(s)
e. Driver’s license records from all states where a license has been issued within the past four (4) years
f. Academic records: All transcripts through highest grade or degree, Section 504 Plans, any Individualized Education Programs (IEP), and any records for any history of academic/occupational accommodations

3. Schedule appointment
We offer direct scheduling for ADHD Fast Track appointments that are completed via telehealth. To schedule an in-person evaluation, please reach out via email as the available dates differ from the telehelath availability.
Once scheduled, we email you paperwork (e.g. consent forms) and instructions for sending FAA's required documents.
Please keep in mind, we need the FAA-required documents and paperwork at least 2 days BEFORE the appointment or the appointment must be rescheduled.
The total cost of an FAA fast track assessment is $600. There is a $100 deposit to pay when you schedule, which is applied to the total. If you need to reschedule, the deposit carries forward as long as you notify us atleast 2 days prior to appointment.
4. Confirm appointment by sending required documents
We must receive all required documents and payment at least 2 days prior to appointment or the appointment will need to be rescheduled. A secure link for uploading documents will be sent after you schedule.
5. Attend appointment and receive documentation
The ADHD fast track appointment takes 1-2 hours and is based on an interview/discussion with Dr. Blomeke.
Dr. Blomeke will have reviewed your paperwork ahead of the appointment, and unless paperwork is missing, we will send you the appropriate completed FAA form for the ADHD fast track within 2 days. If necessary paperwork is missing, then the form will be delayed pending paperwork.
6. Bring documentation to an AME familiar with ADHD-fast track
While any AME may assist with ADHD fast track, many are not familiar with it and may defer to FAA even if eligible for medical certificate issuance by AME. It is thus recommended to inquire with an AME ahead of time whether they have experience with ADHD fast track. HIMS AMES are more likely to be familiar with the process.
